Shipping Policy

Shipping Speeds and Rates

In order to make shopping at PerfectForPets.com as easy as possible we offer flat rate standard shipping for all items in a single order regardless of the number of items in your order. Standard shipping is always $4.95 to any destination inside the continental United States and $9.95 for Hawaii and Alaska. Some large items are considered oversize by the shipping carriers and incur extra charges. These items will typically ship separately from the rest of your order. These items are labeled clearly on the product detail pages along with the additional amount. You will also be reminded of the additional charges during checkout.

We ship to any address in the United States including Alaska and Hawaii. Shipping to international locations or U.S. Territories is not available. We ship your items via several carriers including UPS, FedEx and USPS. We reserve the right to ship using either carrier at our discretion in order to provide you with the best possible delivery service for your destination. This allows us to keep our shipping rates low and gets your items to you in the shortest amount of time.

We make every attempt to ship orders from our warehouses within 24 hours. Items shipped by a third party generally ship within the timeframes specified on the product detail pages. As items are shipped, we will send you emails detailing the shipments and tracking numbers when available from the carrier. If a single warehouse can't fill your order, it may arrive in multiple shipments at no additional shipping charge for standard shipping. For expedited and rush shipping additional charges may apply if we are shipping your order from multiple locations.

Standard Shipping

  • Deliveries to Alaska, Hawaii, and P.O. boxes may take longer
  • Deliveries to APO/FPO addresses may take up to 21 days

Expedited Shipping

  • Rate is calculated at checkout for any destination in the continental U.S., Alaska and Hawaii
  • Additional Charges may apply for large/oversize packages and when shipping from multiple locations
  • Your package arrives in 2-3 business days.
  • Items may be shipped via FedEx or UPS
  • No weekend delivery; no P.O. boxes or APO/FPO

Rush Shipping

  • Rate is calculated at checkout for any destination in the continental U.S., Alaska and Hawaii
  • Additional Charges may apply for large/oversize packages and when shipping from multiple locations
  • Your package arrives in 1 business day.
  • Items may be shipped via FedEx or UPS
  • No weekend delivery; no P.O. boxes or APO/FPO


Undeliverable Packages

Occasionally packages are returned to us as undeliverable. When the carrier returns an undeliverable package to us, we issue a full refund (including shipping charges).

We are unable to re-ship orders that are returned to us as undeliverable. If you would still like to purchase items that were undeliverable, you are welcome to place a new order on our Web site.

If you suspect your order cannot be delivered as addressed and you have not received confirmation of its return or refund after 4 weeks from the estimated delivery date, please contact us using the link near the bottom of this page.

Package may be deemed undeliverable for one of the following reasons:

Incorrect Address. If the address is incorrect or outdated, the package is typically returned to us by the carrier or the unintended recipient. Please double-check your address carefully when placing a new order.

Address Format. If a post office box address was entered in a format our system does not recognize, the package may be shipped through a carrier that cannot deliver to a post office box. To ensure that such packages are routed through the proper carriers, please enter the box number as "PO BOX" followed by the number.

Illegible Address. In rare cases, it is also possible that the address label became illegible during the shipping and handling process.

Failed Delivery Attempts. Most of our carriers make three attempts to deliver a package. Packages that contain more than $400 of merchandise will always require a signature; otherwise, it is generally up to the driver's discretion to determine whether a signature is required. If the driver feels it is best to obtain a signature and no one is present to accept the delivery after three attempts, the package will be returned to us.

Refused by Recipient. If a gift recipient is not expecting a gift, they may refuse the package if they believe it was sent to them in error. If you still want to send these items, you may want to let the recipient know that a surprise is on the way.


Order Tracking

If your order ships via a carrier that provides package tracking as soon as your order ships you will receive shipping confirmation along with the tracking number(s). You can go to the View Your Account control panel to view the progress of your shipment(s).
